The Management of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority wishes to warn all those operating Cold Storages in Liberia to immediately obtain certificates to operate, or risk fine or closed.
Anyone operating Cold Storage that is not register or certificated by the Management of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority is in total violation of the fisheries Law and is operating illegally. Said Cold Storage risk closure by NaFAA Inspection team.
All Cold Storage Operators are therefore required to visit the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority head office in Freeport abject the LPRC office or contact NaFAA’s Fisheries Officers in any of the Coastal Counties in Liberia.
At the same time, the Annual Cold Storage Certification fees are as follows.

1. Head Cold Storage Facility of Major Fish Importers ———— US$500.00 (Five Hundred United States Dollars)
2. All other Cold Storage Facilities, Outlets/branches ————-US$100.00(One Hundred United States Dollars)

Kindly cooperate with the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority NaFAA to avoid fine or closure of your businesses.
