LIBERIA ANNUAL CANOES FISHING LICENSE FEES
This is an important message to all fishermen across the nine coastal counties in Liberia. This message has to do with the payment of the Liberian government’s annual fishing license fees by Canoe operators.
1-15 Horsepower canoe owners are to pay US250.00 annually.
16—40 Horsepower canoe owners are to pay US$475.00 annually.
41—100 Horsepower canoe owners are to pay US$1,250.00 annually.
Migrant/Seasonal Fishermen are to pay US$1,500.00 annually.
Padding/Kru Canoe owners are to pay US$50.00 or its Liberian Dollar equivalent annually.
Fishing license fee payment starts in January every fishing year. No Fisherman is allowed to go fishing in the absence of the payment of the annual fishing license fees. Said fishermen would be charged for illegal fishing and fined by the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority, (NaFAA) of Liberia.
